Adding the App

Step-by-step guide to connect Zoom to Chuzeday:

1. Log in to your Chuzeday business account at business.chuzeday.com

2. Navigate to Setup from the left sidebar

3. Scroll to the Integrations section and click Zoom Integration

4. Click the "Connect Zoom Account" button

5. You will be redirected to Zoom's OAuth authorization page

6. Log in with your Zoom account and click Allow to grant permissions

7. You will be redirected back to Chuzeday — the integration page will show Connected with your Zoom email displayed

8. From this point, every Video Consultation booking will automatically generate a unique Zoom meeting link

Prerequisites:

• An active Chuzeday business account

• A Zoom account (Free or paid)

• At least one service configured as a Video Consultation type in your Chuzeday service settings

Usage

Use case: When a guest books a Video Consultation appointment with a business on Chuzeday, the system automatically creates a scheduled Zoom meeting on behalf of the business owner.

What happens after connecting:

• A unique Zoom meeting link is created for every video booking

• The guest receives the Zoom join link in their booking confirmation email

• The business owner sees the Zoom host start link in their appointment/calendar view

• If the booking is rescheduled, the Zoom meeting time is updated automatically

• If the booking is cancelled, the Zoom meeting is deleted automatically

Scopes used:

• meeting:writee — to create, update, and delete scheduled meetings

• user:read — to confirm the connected Zoom account identity

Troubleshooting

Zoom link not generated for a booking:

• Ensure your Zoom account is still connected under Setup → Integrations → Zoom Integration

• If the status shows Disconnected, click Connect Zoom Account to re-authorize

• Confirm the booked service is set as Video Consultation type

OAuth authorization fails:

• Ensure you are using a valid Zoom account

• Clear browser cookies and try again

• Contact support at [email protected]

Removing the App

How to disconnect Zoom from Chuzeday:

1. Log in to your Chuzeday business account

2. Go to Setup → Integrations → Zoom Integration

3. Click "Disconnect Zoom"

4. Confirm the disconnection in the prompt

Implications of removing the app:

• No new Zoom meeting links will be generated for future video bookings

• Existing Zoom meetings already created will not be deleted from your Zoom account

• Your stored Zoom OAuth tokens are immediately revoked and deleted from Chuzeday's servers

• You can reconnect at any time by repeating the setup steps above

To fully remove the app from your Zoom account:

1. Log in to your Zoom account at zoom.us

2. Go to Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps

3. Find Chuzeday and click Remove

4. This will revoke all permissions and remove Chuzeday's access entirely
